Shia LaBeouf ex, FKA twigs, is suing the actor, accusing him of an abusive relationship.

Former ‘Transformers’ actor, Shia LaBeouf, is dealing with a lawsuit lobbed at him by ex-girlfriend, FKA twigs. The lawsuit is also there to out the actor as an abuser. In the lawsuit, it details various instances of abuse including him threatening to crash his car if she didn’t say she loved him.

After managing to get out of the car, LaBeouf allegedly followed and assaulted her by pushing her onto the car and screaming at her. During the same trip to LA that led to the aforementioned stint of distress, the singer-songwriter claimed to have been woken up to the sight of the actor choking her.

The lawsuit wasn’t just pointing out the issues FKA twigs faced, though, it also detailed previous girlfriends’ experiences like the accusation of Karolyn Pho, who claimed he pinned her to the bed drunkenly and headbutted her until she bled.

To his part, the former ‘Transformers’ star has responded to the issues raised by the musician – not making any excuses or anything, but apologizing to those he hurt.

“I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalisations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say.”

The lawsuit was made to show even people with access to help can fall victim to a cycle of abuse.
