‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star, Chris Pratt, is starring and producing the upcoming coming-of-age comedy film, ‘The Black Belt.’
Chris Pratt, which has been a part of the MCU alongside stealing the hearts of TV fans as Andy in ‘Parks and Recreation,’ is starring and producing ‘The Black Belt,’ a coming-of-age comedy flick with a karate theme.
The film follows a shy boy as seeks to become a karate master with the help of his wild and wacky uncle, who fans can assume is being played by Pratt.
Pratt certainly seems to have a full plate with not only this film to work on but also the final outing of the ‘Jurassic Park’ franchise, ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ is on its way, and, of course, we can see him return to the Guardians in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ as early as next year.
Jon Schumacher, Steve Barnett, and Alan Powell will work beside Pratt to produce the film. Vicky Patel of Monarch Media will executive produce. Randall Green penned the script. As for distribution and sales, that role goes to UTA Independent Film Group.
